Keswick Fair Trade
The website for the Keswick and District Fair Trade Campaign was a full re-design and re-development of their existing site; plus adding lots of new features to increase usability for visitors to the site and for members of the campaign itself. This website is a packed resource, full of information about Fair Trade and the activities of the Keswick group.
Makgadikgadi Zebra Migration Research
The purpose of this website design was to act as an up-to-date resource on the research conducted by James Bradley in the Makgadikgadi and Nxai Pan National Park in Botswana. Information is kept up to date in several ways, including a blog, an image gallery, regularly updated reports, and a migration map which shows the location and migration of the zebra over a 3 month period.
Stay in Borrowdale
We were ask to completely design and develop the Stay in Borrowdale website. This stylish website showcases self-catering holiday accommodation situated in Lake District. We chose a clean, simple design which reflects the internal colour-scheme of the properties. The website has a slideshow, image gallery and simple admin section which allows the client to add Special Offers.
GP-Palliative Care
A re-design of an important online resource. This site provides up-to-date information and advice to Health Care Professionals who are treating terminally ill patients. Although mainly aimed at Health Care Professionals in North Cumbria, it has plans to expand it's specialised information into other UK areas, and has been known to have visitors from all over the world!
Keswick Hockey Club
As Keswick Hockey Club's main sponsor for quite a few years now, we were more than happy to undertake the re-design and development of their website. The aim of the site is to encourage the Club's players, members, supporters, friends and family to use it on a weekly, if not daily, basis to gain information about teams, training, matches and view images of the teams at their best.
Hazel Bank Country House
We love this site at Keswick Computer Services because sometimes simple, elegant design wins over lots of flashy features and big bright buttons screaming for you to click them! A classy example that less is more when it comes to website design! This is proven by the site's extremely high visitor rate of well-over 1700 visits per month.
Cheers Beers & Bars
The design and development of this site included a logo design, as Cheers Beers & Beers is a recently established mobile bar and events company. We wanted to drive home all the different types of events Cheers could cater to in the site's design, as well as highlighting their speciality and passion - Real Ale.
Walker Associates (Keswick) Ltd
For a business and training consultancy located in Keswick, we needed a professional website design to set the correct tone for visitors to the site. This project also included a logo design, which in itself reflects the location of the firm - the blues represent the numerous lakes while the shape of the W and A represent the fells which surround Keswick.
Keswick Beer Festival
Fans of music and beer alike have been visiting the Keswick Beer Festival for well over 10 years. Keswick Computer Services are proud to be behind the website which aims to show the fun and frolics behind the "Party on the Pitch". Web features include a fully updatable Sponsors section, slideshow banner, Google Picasa gallery, Google Map, and a delicious grass background.
Keswick BID
The aim of this simple two page site is to give Keswick Business Improvement District (BID) a web presence which looks professional and gives a brief description of the purpose of BID. It was also a great opportunity to promote their newly designed logo, which we incorporated into the design through use of shape and colour.
